What is a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)?
The CPL is your gateway to professional flying. You’ll build advanced knowledge in air law, navigation, meteorology, performance, human factors and operations while developing the flight skills needed to work as a commercial pilot. On completion you can progress to multi-engine, instrument, and airline pathways.

Learning Outcomes
- Plan and fly cross-country routes with sound fuel, weight & balance and performance calculations.
- Apply threat & error management and sound decision-making in varied conditions.
- Build total flight time to commercial standards (typical 150–200 hours depending on pathway and country).
- Understand next steps: MEA, IR, ATPL theory and airline cadet options.
