INSTRUMENT RATING (IR)

Are you looking to build your instrument hours and receive an Instrument Rating Training Endorsement? An instrument rating allows you to fly under the instrument flight rules (IFR) or at night under the visual flight rules (VFR).

An instrument rating requires you to gain extra knowledge and skills to be competent to conduct these flights safely.

The IFR details how you can conduct a flight in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) using the flight instruments to control and navigate the aircraft.

The IFR also outlines how you can conduct an approach and landing in accordance with an authorised Instrument Approach Procedure (IAP).
